Lamp Oil/Liquid Paraffin
Do not use liquid gas or spirits.
They burn at a much higher temperature.
Old Jeans Cloth or Kevlar
Jeans cloth is easier to setup but not so durable.
Use Kevlar if you can.
Paper Clip
Only for the Disk Stack
SETTING UP NORMAL STACKS WITH KEVLAR GLOVE
Take your normal stack and the piece of cloth (kevlar or jeans)
Then…
Cut your cloth into a slimmer piece.
Now…
Push the cloth through the hole of your stack.
And…
Make a simple knot.
DO NOT TIGHTEN IT!
Then…
Pull the cloth from the bottom…
…so that the knot tangles around the tip of your stack.
Then…
Tighten it up. You can make a second knot if you wish.
Finally…
Put the remaining of the cloth inside the stack.
Try to have enough cloth to fill the inside of the stack.
Put some lamp oil on both sides.
You are good to go…
Setup both your stacks and light them one after the other. This way you can have a full performance of up to 3 minutes (depending on the amount of kevlar and fuel you use).
SETTING UP DISK STACK WITHOUT GLOVE (you can use this technique on a normal stack as well)
Take your disk stack…
… and push a paper clip loop through the hole – as in the picture.
Then…
Cut the remaining paper clip.
Now…
Lock the remaining paper clip inside the stack.
And…
Insert a larger piece of jeans cloth through the loop.
Then…
Make a knot.
Maybe…
Another one. Tighten it up!
Finally…
Cut the remaining cloth.
You are good to go…
Use ONLY 1 disk stack. On the other side of the yoyo put a normal stack to balance it out a bit.
You should have no vibrations, but the yoyo is going to tilt slightly.
